I think most people forget that at its root, reparations suggest repair. ![]() ![]() That’s directed to America, to the exclusionary literary canon, to the boy in fifth grade who laughed when I couldn’t kick a kickball well, to the men who’ve broken my heart or at least bruised it, to countless presidents/governors/mayors who have made my oppression into law. ![]()
